“…ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine…”

I never want to discourage anyone from printing Bibles, or anything they are doing to advance the cause of Christ. But Gospel tracts are the Marines of our movement in this spiritual warfare and we need more of them.

The salvation of souls must be our first priority; therefore, the Gospel must go first. Jesus said, “And the gospel must first be published among all nations.” (1) “First” means first. In other words, publishing the Gospel should be job one.

We may not be able to get a Bible to all people in their language, but we can get the Gospel to them in their language, and then enlist them in helping translating the Bible into their language.

We have a twofold purpose, win the lost and teach and train believers. The Bible says, “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” (2) We are to win the lost, that’s what “converting the soul” means, and we are to teach and train believers, that’s what “making wise the simple” means.

We need Gospel tracts and Bibles to carry on the work and mission God has given us. We need millions of Gospel tracts in order to reach our nation for Christ.

Giving a Bible to a lost man is like giving the keys to a drug store to a sick man, he may find what he needs but not likely. Giving a Bible to a saved man is like giving a gold mine to a poor man, he will dig, search and enrich his life.

The Gospel must be first, and then “New Steps in the Right Direction” which is helps for new believers, and then give Bibles to church members. Remember, the world is waiting on the Gospel.
